Pro-Ma performance products are extremely well proven; with both independent and government validated testing, and nearly a century of continuous and effective usage around the world in some of the most demanding of environments.
These patented products are now used in virtually every type of vehicle, equipment and machinery – across all sectors – including domestic, commercial, industrial, mining, agricultural, government, marine and racing.
Their primary purpose is to increase your profit from plant, vehicles, and equipment – by increasing their productive-life, and reducing your fuel, maintenance and downtime costs.
In general terms, this is done by overcoming the limitations and problems associated with fuels and lubricants, and by providing automatic, ongoing maintenance every time you drive or use your plant.
The bottom line (when using these products consistently) is the following typical results...
Naturally, each of the performance products has its own benefits working in different parts of the engine or equipment; so the greatest results come when they are used in combination.
There can also be a cumulative effect. For example, the fuel and oil treatments all reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, and increase power, torque and thermal efficiency. However, they each do it in different ways, so when the products are used in combination, the effect is cumulative and the overall results are much better.
Of course, it almost goes without saying that if you use the products throughout a system (eg. fuel, engine, transmission, differentials, wheel bearings, etc), then the results will be far superior to putting them in only one part of it.
E&E Moloney Earthmoving reported that when their Cat 931B dozer was given both the diesel and oil treatments, plus the MBL grease; there was a 20% drop in its operating temperature, and the fuel consumption dropped from 12 litres per hour to 8 litres per hour...
Please note that although this report is both genuine and common, this kind of fuel saving is at the top end of the scale. Different equipment and different situations all produce different results, and we would normally suggest a likely improvement of around 8-15% when using the products throughout.
These are very significant improvements, especially on top of the impressive maintenance savings that result from equipment that runs totally clean — from the fuel system to the crankcase, and from the combustion chamber to the exhaust pipe — and which enjoys reduced friction and bearing protection that we believe is unsurpassed anywhere. (See product descriptions for more details about these features.)
Robbie Wheatley (Queensland, Australia) was about to overhaul his Roadranger gearbox on his low-loader rig because noises and problems suggested it was necessary. He had budgeted $15,000 for the overhaul and another $30,000 in lost production for the week his rig (for carrying large earthmoving equipment) would be out of service.
Before he started, he was introduced to Pro-Ma MBL8 oil improver and decided that for $30 he had nothing to lose by giving it a try. A few weeks later he realised that the noises were gone and that the gearbox was working much smoother and better than before.
The plating action of MBL8 had done a repairing effect on the worn areas of the bearings and the overhaul was no longer necessary... He had just saved himself about $45,000 — and was very keen to give his plant and equipment the full treatment!
Sometimes the benefits can be quite surprising....
Pro-Ma MBL Grease is normally used for its extreme resistance to water washout and its reduced friction and anti-wear characteristics through high loads and a very high temperature range (–40°C to +280°C).
However, when (for example) it is used on the turntable of prime-mover and trailer; it performs so well that it reduces the shudder on the front tyres to such an extent that typically, they've been lasting 20% longer!
Of course, reduced shudder means less stress for the whole vehicle; and less friction on the road also helps to reduce fuel consumption.
Independent and government testing all show massive reductions in harmful exhaust emissions when using Pro-Ma performance products in your fuel and/or oil. This of course is a boon for the environment, but even more-so, because reduced emissions are clear evidence of improved combustion — meaning that less fuel is needed — helping to conserve our precious and limited resources.
John Furler (Queensland, Australia) has been using Pro-Ma Performance Products throughout his 1993 Mack Road Train for over 1.5 million km. He started using them at 120,000 km.
To his great surprise, he found that his fuel injectors (still the originals which had never been removed since new) were in perfect condition – and he was able to put them back in without any need to service them.
...A very significant financial saving.
At 1 million kilometres, he reported that his regular, used oil diagnosis reports continued to show significantly lower iron content than before using the products.
Kevin Stuart of Totalcare (a state government body responsible for public parks and gardens in Canberra, Australia), reported that 20-25 punctures per week from their 17 industrial lawn mowers was costing them $10,000 to $15,000 over their 15-week peak season for repairs and replacements.
This was on top of their lost man and machine hours, which Kevin described as being "much greater again" — meaning they were losing at least $30,000 to punctures for the season.
After using Pro-Ma Puncture Sealant, their punctures were reduced to only 3-4 per week – and most of these only needed re-inflating.... A huge saving that almost eliminated their loss altogether!
At 1.5 million kilometres, he pulled down the engine just to check its condition. He reported that the wear was negligible and that everything inside the engine was very clean (just a wipe with a cloth revealed all the original paint-work); indeed, that everything seemed almost like new.
He put everything back together and continued using his rig with nothing more than reassembly and a regular service. He also praised Pro-Ma MBL Grease and reported that the kingpins and universal joints are still the originals.
Christopher Barnes (Tasmania, Australia) has been using Pro-Ma Performance Products in his rig for many years. Finally, at 1.8 million km he needed to replace his engine valves....
